The Half Day
and Full Day Chauffeur Drive option
is ideal for the following guests:
Those who do not wish to drink and drive
Guests who might not be that interested in
the history / technical information about
wine, but who would still like to enjoy a
fun day out.
Guests who might be on a bit of a budget.
Guests who would like to enjoy the Cape
Winelands by themselves without other guests
on tour with them.
Guests travelling with children.
Guests travelling alone
Guests wanting to tour for 2 or more days.
Please dont expect a Chauffeur with a hat
and tie on this one. The Half Day and Full
Day Chauffeur Drive option is ideal for
those guests that might be on a bit of a
budget or who is not interested in the finer
details of wine making, but who would still
like to have a fun and interesting day out
in the Cape Winelands without having to
worry about drinking and driving. The
concept of the Chauffeur Drive is simple:
- It is semi-guided (your driver will be
loads of fun and will show you the hidden
gems of the Cape Winelands). Your driver
will offer some information, but nothing
like
what you can expect to receive on a normal
guided tour.
- You will be driven around and you will be
introduced to the tasting room staff at each
of the wine estates that you visit. The
tasting room staff will then take good care
of
you
while on that particular estate.
- You will pay for your own tastings and
lunch / snacks. The tasting room staff know
us, so might charge you less or even nothing
at all for your tastings.
- This is always a Private Chauffeur Drive.
You and travel companions will be the only
guests on the vehicle.
- We ONLY have ONE vehicle available per day
for this service, so you have to pre-book.
Please note the
following important information:
When you choose the Chauffeur Drive Option
we will sadly not be able to take you to any
of the estates that we would normally have
visited on the Chocolate, Cheese, Olive and
Wine Tour.
We ONLY offer collections within the
Franschhoek / Stellenbosch and Paarl areas
and we only offer the Chauffeur Drive within
these areas.
RATES
3 Hour Non-Guided Driver Service
R1795 in total for up to 4 guests.
Additional Hours can be booked at R395 per hour (small vehicle up to 6 guests maximum) for anything over the 3-hour mark.
Additional Hours can be booked at R695 per hour (large vehicle between 7 to 12 guests maximum) for anything over the 3-hour mark.
Additional Guests at R250 per guest for the small vehicle (5 or 6 guests).
Additional Guests at R395 per guest for the large vehicle (7 to 12 guests).
6 Hour Non-Guided Driver Service
R3300 in total for up to 4 guests.
Additional Hours can be booked at R395 per hour (small vehicle up to 6 guests maximum) for anything over the 3-hour mark.
Additional Hours can be booked at R695 per hour (large vehicle between 7 to 12 guests maximum) for anything over the 3-hour mark.
Additional Guests at R250 per guest for the small vehicle (5 or 6 guests).
Additional Guests at R395 per guest for the large vehicle (7 to 12 guests).
